SINTE is a consolidated research team (Generalitat of Catalonia, Ref. SGR-0819) that focus their research, training, and dissemination activities on studying the strategic learning paradigm and its different derivations and applications, both in formal education and non-formal education settings. As an interuniversity team, it is organized into five units located at the four participating universities: two at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (SINTE-Curriculum, SINTE-Cooperation); one at Ramon Llull University (SINTE-Reading and Writing); one at the University of Girona (SINTE-Assessment); and one at the Open University of Catalonia (SINTE-ICT). Three of these units cooperate with other institutions: SINTE-Curriculum: member of the interest groups of the Unit for teaching innovation in higher education 
SINTE-Cooperation: focused on peer learning, it is recognised by ICE at UAB
